ARTISTIC CATEGORY
- Composition for Mandolin Orchestra
- Works must be composed for 6 parts, (Mandolin I, Mandolin II, Mandola, Mandoloncello, Guitar, and Contrabass) or 5 parts (excludes Mandoloncello).
- Works must not includes wind or percussion parts.
- Duration of the works must be approximately 10 minutes
- The number of the orchestra member must be 50 or less.
- Composer can specify the number of the member.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
- The application must be arrived by Monday, August 16, 2010
PRELIMINARY SCREENING
- Screening of the music score
- The result is announced on this web page on Wednesday, September 1st, 2010.
- Around 6 works will proceed to the final
FINAL
- Rehearsal: Saturday, October 9th, 2010 (Location: TBD in Osaka)
- Final: Sunday, October 10th, 2010 (Open to public)
