The 11th ARTE International Mandolin Festival & Competition will be held!
There are two categories, Mandolin solo and Mandoloncello Solo.

Schedule:
- June 30th, 2017 (Fri):
- Deadline of application for the preliminary selection (Both Categories).
- July 15th, 2017 (Sat):
- Announcement of the result of the preliminary selection (On the ARTE MANDOLINISTICA Official Website).
- October 7th, 2017 (Sat):
- Category B Final, Category A Semi-Final.
- 1October 8th, 2017 (Sun):
- Category A final.
Entry Fee:
- JPY 10,000 (per a category).

- APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY:
- None (Participants are accepted regardless of age)
- PRIZES:
- 1st; JPY 200,000 and extra prize
- 2nd; JPY 150,000 and extra prize
- 3rd; JPY 100,000 and extra prize
- PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION (by recorded media):
- Jiro NAKANO: Serenata op.2 (no version designation)
- Semi Final (will be held on October 7th):
- Total stage duration is 15 to 20 minutes, including the required piece “Improvised Poem” by Yasuo KUWABARA, published by Vogt & Fritz (PE.VF5015)
- Final (October 8th):
- Total stage duration is 20 to 30 minutes
= Category B: Mandoloncello Solo =
- APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY:
- None (Participants are accepted regardless of age)
- PRIZES:
- 1st winner; JPY 100,000 and extra prize
- 2nd winner; JPY 50,000 and extra prize
- 3rd winner; JPY 30,000 and extra prize
- PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION (by recorded media):
- Victor Kioulaphides: Sarabande & Fuga (From “Suite for Ali”)
Two pieces must be played in a row.
